Seville decked in green and white as Bhoys invade
Seville was witnessing a mass invasion of Celtic supporters today as the Scottish side geared up for tonight's Uefa Cup Final against FC Porto.
As many as 60,000 fans of the famous Glasgow club were expected in the city today even though the majority of those have not got tickets.
Martin O'Neill's men enter tonight's game as underdogs, however if their fanatical support is anything to go by they can only come out winners in what has been a remarkable spectacle in the Spanish city.
Green and white has been the enduring colour over the past day or two as an influx of Celtic fans have flown in to Seville to witness the clubs first European final in 30 years.
Many of these fans have come from Northern Ireland to cheer on a team managed by Kilrea-born Martin O'Neill who is no stranger to such occasions.
As a player he won in a European Cup Final medal with Nottingham Forest and most famously captained Northern Ireland to their greatest victory ever, beating host nations Spain 1-0 in front of 50,000 home fans in the 1982 World Cup in Valencia.
As in that night, O'Neill's team go into tonight's match as underdogs despite knocking out Blackburn, Liverpool and Celta Vigo in earlier rounds.
However, win or lose O'Neill has already etched his name into Bhoys history having broken Rangers domination of Scottish football after playing second fiddle for so long and having beaten some of English football's biggest names on their way to tonights grand finale.
Tonight's match kicks off at 7.45pm British time and is live on BBC1 Northern Ireland.

Work Underway For Free Hospital Parking In Northern Ireland
Work has begun at several hospital sites across Northern Ireland as part of the preparations for the introduction of free car parking in May 2026. Health and Social Care Trusts have been actively preparing for the implementation of a new traffic management system since the Hospital Parking Charges Act was passed in 2022.
