£140k Cocaine Seized

The PSNI has seized a haul of cocaine thought to be worth £140,000 in Crossgar, County Down.

The drugs were found by officers while searching a property in the Raffrey area.

Three people have been arrested.

Farmer Convicted Over Cattle Regulations

A farmer has been convicted at Ballymena Magistrates' Court of three charges under cattle identification regulations and one under the Tuberculosis Control Order.

Christopher Boyd of Tully Road, Slievenagh, Portglenone, was convicted on Thursday.

Mr Boyd pleaded guilty and was fined £950 plus £40 costs.

The Breaches of the Regulations were discovered at a Cattle Identification Inspection carried out by DARD Inspectors.

Woman Hijacked At Knife Point

A woman has had her car hijacked at knife point in the Corporation Street area of Belfast.

The incident happened as the woman was putting money into a parking meter in the city centre at about 08:50 on Thursday morning.

A man approached the woman and held what is thought to be a knife to her throat.

He then took her car keys and made off in her car. The woman was was left uninjured but badly shaken.

Antrim Alert A 'Crude Hoax'

A security alert in Antrim has been called off after a suspicious object was ruled to be a 'crude hoax'.

The object was found at the Fountain Hill underpass between Parkhall and the Stiles estate at about 18:15 yesterday evening.

Six homes were evacuated.

Controlled explosions were carried out at the scene, before the Army declare it a hoax.

Woman Arrested After Fatal Omagh Stabbing
A 36-year-old woman has been arrested following a fatal stabbing in Omagh this morning. The incident happened at a house in the Hospital Road area of the town. It is believed the 37-year-old victim, who had been stabbed, died from his injuries. Police have said the attack took place shortly after 3am.

Woman Found Unconscious On Co Down Road
A woman has been found unconscious on a road in County Down. The woman, aged in her 50s, was discovered on the Sheepland Road at around 4.30am on Sunday. She was taken to hospital where she is believed to be in a serious condition.

Investigation Launched Following Fatal Crash In Co Antrim
Police have launched an investigation following a fatal crash in Co Antrim. The collision, between a bus and a car, happened in Randalstown at around 2.45pm on Sunday, 11 February. A 58-year-old woman died as a result of injuries she sustained in the incident. Police are appealing for witnesses to contact them.
