Man arrested following robbery

A man has been arrested in connection with a robbery in Antrim last night.

During the incident a man was stabbed at a Vivo shop on Caulside Drive in Antrim. The attacker is believed to have made off through Caulside Industrial Estate.

Meanwhile, a tourist was robbed in Belfast city centre yesterday. The victim was threatened by two men, one of whom brandished a knife, as he left a nightclub in Tomb Street. It is understood that the assailants took a digital camera and a designer watch.

Man Arrested After Man's Body Found In Co Antrim
A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after the body of a man was discovered at a house in Co Antrim. Emergency services were alerted to the Broombeg View area in Ballycastle at around 8.30pm on Thursday. Police launched a murder investigation after the body of a 48-year-old man was found.

Man Released On Bail Over Lurgan Murder
A man arrested in connection with a murder in Lurgan on Sunday, 06 August, has been released on bail pending further enquiries. The body of a man, aged 45, was discovered at a flat on Victoria Street. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Man Arrested Over Armed Robbery In West Belfast
A man has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery in west Belfast. The robbery happened at a shop on Caffrey Avenue at around 9.30pm on Tuesday, 27 February. The suspect threatened a member of staff and made off with a sum of cash and cigarettes. He was arrested on Wednesday, 28 February, and has been detained in police custody.

Man Arrested Over Knife-Point Robbery
Police have arrested a 29-year-old man in connection with an armed robbery in south Belfast. The PSNI said that staff at a coffee shop on the Ormeau Road were robbed at knife point at about 23:00 on Thursday. No-one was injured in the robbery. Police arrested a man a short time later on Elgin Street.
