PSNI Investigates Death Of 19-Year-Old
The PSNI is investigating the sudden death of a 19-year-old woman in Belfast.
The woman was taken to hospital on Wednesday from a property in Ravenhill Avenue.
She died yesterday evening.
Jim McConnell Murder - Man Released
A Limavady man arrested by detectives investigating the murder of convicted drug dealer Jim McConnell in L'Derry in 2009 has been released on bail.
Mr McConnell was murdered by two masked men in his home in Woodland Avenue in the Prehen area in February 2009.
Two other men in the house at the time were uninjured in the attack.
DUP Councillor In Court
A DUP Councillor who made comments on Facebook about an imaginary, paramilitary attack on a civilian parade in Castlederg has appeared in court.
Ruth Patterson made the comments regarding an IRA memorial parade through the Tyrone town of Castlederg earlier this month, during which she imagined a gun and grenade attack killing several Sinn Féin politicians, including deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness.
The 57-year-old appeared at Belfast Magistrates' Court today.
Dunmurry Man Convicted Of Benefit Fraud
A man from Dunmurry has been convicted of benefit fraud at Lisburn Magistrates' Court.
Ryan Smith (26) of Laurelbank, Dunmurry, claimed Jobseekers Allowance totalling £1,007 while failing to declare employment. He was fined £300 and ordered to pay court costs of £31.
He is also required to repay any outstanding money wrongfully obtained to the Social Security Agency.

Woman Charged With Attempted Murder After Man Stabbed In Co Down
A 36-year-old woman has been charged with attempted murder after a man was stabbed in Co Down. The 54-year-old victim was stabbed in the Manor Court area in Moira on Monday. Man Shot By Police Officer Arrested
A man shot in the chest by a police officer following an incident in L'Derry has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.The 42-yet-old suspect was arrested on Monday, 19 April, following the shooting in the Celandine Court area on Saturday, 17 April. He is being treated in hospital and is to be questioned by the PSNI in due course.

Man Found Dead In Banbridge Named
A man found dead in Banbridge, Co Down, has been named as Richard Gerard Scullion. A murder investigation has launched after his body was found at a house in the Millmount court area on Monday, 09 July. A 28-year-old man arrested on Monday remains in police custody after the PSNI were granted an extension.

Man Released On Bail Over Lurgan Murder
A man arrested in connection with a murder in Lurgan on Sunday, 06 August, has been released on bail pending further enquiries. The body of a man, aged 45, was discovered at a flat on Victoria Street. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
