Police Release Further Riot Images
The PSNI have said 106 people have been arrested as part of an operation following serious rioting over the Twelfth of July.
Over the summer, serious public disorder flared in parts of Belfast after an Orange Order march was banned from passing shops in the Ardoyne area.
Following the bother, Operation Titan was established to investigate the offences linked to the violence. This includes the attempted murder of PSNI officers, unlawful protests and breaches of Parades Commission decisions.
The team confirmed on Tuesday that 106 people have been arrested as part of the investigation, with 77 of those charged and a further 10 reported to the Public Prosecution Service (PPS). Now, an additional 17 images of people have been released who are wanted for questioning.
Detective Superintendent Sean Wright has asked the public for their help in supporting the investigation.
He said: "There are people out there who will know the identity of these 17 people who I am looking to speak to. I am confident that those people will come forward with that information.
"I would ask anyone who believes one of the images is of them to contact us immediately in order to help us with our enquiries."
Anyone who may be able to identify any of the individuals is urged to contact detectives at the Major Incident Room on 028 90 901775 from 9am to 10pm Monday to Friday. Alternatively a message can be left outside these hours.
