Four Charged With Drugs Offences
Four people have been charged with class A drugs offences following arrests made on Friday (30 August).
Two men, aged 54 and 20, and a 42-year-old woman who are all from Liverpool, and a 35-year-old man from Antrim have been charged with the possession of Class A drugs and possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply.
A fifth woman, understood to be 42 years old, has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
The four charged are due to appear at Coleraine Magistrates' Court on Monday.
Following the search of a house in the Greystone area in Antrim last week, Alliance Antrim Councillor Neil Kelly welcomed the seizure of a quantity of illegal drugs.
He said: "I would like to praise the actions of the Police in ensuring that these drugs have been taken off our streets.
"I hope this operation will send a clear message that the Police are treating the supply of illegal drugs very seriously.
"Drugs can have a devastating impact on the local community, so I would encourage the public to contact the Police with any information they may have about illegal drugs."

A man has been charged with drugs offences in Co Antrim. The 42-year-old man was charged after police seized £30,000 of suspected herbal cannabis in the Ballymoney area. He was arrested on the Frosses Road on Monday. He has been charged with possession of a class B controlled drug and possession of a class B controlled drug with intent to supply.
