Coleraine Park And Ride Facility Extended
Regional Development Minister Danny Kennedy has opened a new £326,000 extension to the Park and Ride facilities at Coleraine Bus and Rail Centre.
The extension trebles the number of designated public spaces to 72, while other improvements will provide enhanced safety through separate car and bus parking, CCTV, additional lighting, cycle parking and streetscape on Station Road.
Minister Kennedy said: "This major extension supports the ever increasing number of people choosing to use public transport in Northern Ireland.
"This extended site, provided by Translink, offer safe and convenient car parking with direct access to rail and bus services. I am confident this scheme will encourage more people to try public transport especially at the busiest times of the day."
