Teenager Sexually Assaulted In Bangor
A teenager has been sexually assaulted in Bangor, Co Down.
The 19-year-old was attacked at Quay Street on Saturday night (21 September).
Police have said they are looking for a man in his early 20s in connection with the incident.
He is described as having short hair, facial stubble and was wearing a grey and purple t-shirt.
Police have also appealed for anyone who saw anything suspicious close to the McKee Clock in Bangor, from around 11.30pm on Saturday night, to contact them.
Alliance Councillor and Mayor of Bangor, Andrew Muir, condemned the attack.
He said: "This was a despicable attack right in the heart of Bangor, which will be guaranteed to send shock waves through the local community.
"My thoughts are with the victim at this difficult time. I would urge anyone with information about this sexual assault to contact the police as soon as possible.
"The perpetrator of this crime must be removed from our streets."

Man Extradited From US Over Historical Child Sex Abuse
A 68-year-old man has been sentenced to 18 months in prison for a series of indecent assaults on a child in the 1970s. Damien Desmond Anderson, originally from L'Derry, was extradited from the US to face justice. He was convicted of 12 counts of indecent assault against a female who was 11 years old at the time of the abuse.

Woman sexually assaulted in Belfast
Detectives in South Belfast are appealing for help after a 28-year-old woman suffered a serious sexual assault over the weekend. It is under stood the woman was attacked and sexually assaulted after she left a nightclub in the Dunbar Link area sometime between midnight and 1am on Sunday.

A male shop assistant has been threatened at gunpoint at a filling station in Co Down. The employee was confronted by two men, one of whom had a hand gun, at around 8pm when they entered the store on the Ballymiscaw Road, Holywood and demanded money.

Police have appealed for information after a 24-year-old woman was sexually assaulted in Omagh. The attack is thought to have happened in a walkway in the Johnston Park area between 1am and 3am on Sunday (30 November). Detectives want to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time, or who may be able to assist the investigation.
