Woman Raped In Bangor

Police have said they are investigating a report that a woman was raped in Bangor, Co Down.

She was reportedly attacked by one of three men who had given her a lift in their car.

It is understood the woman got into the silver-coloured Ford around 3am on Tuesday in the Eisenhower Pier area and was assaulted at the coastal path in the Downshire Road area.

The man is described as being around six feet tall with dark brown hair, wearing a grey hooded top and blue jeans.

Police added: "Detectives would ask anyone who noticed a silver Ford car in the area of Eisenhower Pier or the Downshire Road between 1.15am and 3.25am."

Detectives from the Rape Crime Unit in Ladas Drive asked anyone with any information to contact them on 0845 600 8000.

Pedestrian Dies Following Road Traffic Collision Ikn West Belfast
A female pedestrian in her 70s has tragically died following a road traffic collision in west Belfast on Saturday, 9th November. The incident occurred on Hannahstown Hill shortly after 6:50pm when two pedestrians were struck by a vehicle. Emergency services attended the scene, and the injured pedestrians were taken to hospital.
