Homes Evacuated In Security Alert

A number of homes have been evacuated in east Belfast, following a security alert.

The alert at Kingsway Park, Tullycarnet, started following the discovery of a suspicious object.

Army bomb disposal experts are at the scene.

Road diversions are in place.

There are no further details at present.

Residents Evacuated Following Security Alert In L'Derry
Residents have been evacuated from their homes following a security alert in L'Derry. Homes were evacuated on Thursday afternoon following reports of a suspicious object in the Southway area. Army bomb disposal experts and police are at the scene and the area has been cordoned off.
