Parade Organisers Urged To Make Peaceful Intentions Clear
The organisers of the upcoming loyalist parade in Belfast this Saturday have been urged to make it clear they want a peaceful and dignified demonstration.
A parade is being held in the city centre to mark one year since the council backed a motion to flag the union flag on designated days, being NI inline with the rest of the UK.
According to the BBC, First Minister Peter Robinson called for a "clear message" from the parades organisers that it should be peaceful and dignified.
He said that if people did not follow the parades commission determination on Saturday there would be disruption in Belfast city centre and economic disruption will follow that.
