Police arrest man in connection with kidnapping

A 44-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the kidnapping of a child in Co Antrim last month.

The 11-year-old boy was kidnapped alongside his father at their Greenisland home.

The boy was then separated from his father and left in the boot of a car until a ransom was handed over.

The boy was eventually released when the ransom was delivered to a man on a red and white Scrambler-type motorbike in Newtownabbey several hours later.
