Subway To Create 1,800 New Jobs In Ireland
Labour TD Kevin Humphreys has welcomed the news that the Subway fast food chain are to create 1,800 new jobs in Ireland over the next six years.
Mr Humphreys said: "This is excellent news for the Irish economy and signals the growing confidence in our domestic business environment.
"Subway will open more than 180 new stores here over the next six years, creating 1,800 new jobs, with 400 of those positions to come on stream this year alone.
"Subway has a strong foothold in the Irish market, having opened 16 new stories here as recently as last year. The news that they are to significantly expand operations in Ireland is to be warmly welcomed."

Invest Northern Ireland has offered the company £45,000 towards its expansion which involves investing in new state-of-the-art specialised pipe manufacturing equipment needed to target new business.

Cyber Security Firm Create 150 New Jobs
Up to 150 new jobs are to be created by Irish Cyber Security firm, Integrity360, at its Sandyford headquarters in Dublin. A total of 50 new positions will be recruited and completed with the support of Enterprise Ireland by the end of this year.
