Zevas Communications Announces 50 New Jobs
Pádraic Vallely, Fianna Fáil local election candidate for the Ballincollig-Carrigaline area, said he was delighted to attend the announcement by Zevas Communications that 50 new jobs will be created at the company.
Zevas Communications currently employs over 200 staff members at its offices in Cork, Dublin, Hamburg, Madrid and San Francisco.
He said: "There have been a number of job announcements over the past fortnight in Cork proving that the county is now establishing itself as an ideal location for growing businesses.
"Con Lehane, Chief Executive Officer, and Ronan Murphy, Co-Founder and Director of Zevas, have created a leading business that is expert in sales generation, customer service and reliability for large companies looking to outsource sales calls.
"This jobs announcement further cements the need for local businesses to be supported in order to continue growing and expanding their workforce."

Offshore Company Axes Jobs
Around 150 jobs in Aberdeen and Dundee have been axed after an offshore services company ceased trading. Oceanteam Power and Umbilical has been forced to close when the firm's holding company withdrew its financial support. Staff are based in Aberdeen, at workshops in Dundee and offshore.
