Donegal Security Alert Sparked Near L'Derry Border
Army bomb experts have attended a security alert in County Donegal, near the border with L'Derry.
The alert was sparked on Monday night following the discovery of a suspicious object at Burnfoot.
Gardaí have not yet revealed whether the device was viable.

25 jobs are expected to be created through the opening of a new restaurant in Belfast.
Maze, described as serving "international fusion" cuisine, has opened at Wellington Place in the city centre.

Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service has attended a car fire incident on the Cornakinnegar Road, Kinnegoe, Lurgan, County Armagh.
Firefighters extinguished the blaze and then administered oxygen to a 69-year-old woman at the scene for minor smoke inhalation.
£250k For Newtownards Junction Upgrade
£250,000 has been announced for an upgrade to a busy town centre junction in Newtownards.
Work on the improvement at South Street/Court Street is planned to begin during the next financial year and is expected to take six to eight weeks to finish.

ASSEMBLY CREATE AWARD TO HONOUR FIRE SERVICE
THE Northern Ireland Fire Service is to receive the first ever award given by the province's devolved assembly. An illuminated scroll is to be presented to Chief Fire Officer John McClelland on Tuesday, by assembly speaker Lord Alderdice in tribute to the sacrifice made by fire fighters over the years.

The Home Fire Safety Check coincides with Fire Safety Week, which runs from September 30th to October 6th. The initiative aims to reduce the number of house fires in Northern Ireland.
