Elderly Women Shaken After Belfast Robbery

Two elderly women have been left shaken following a robbery by a masked gang at their south Belfast home.

The gang forced their way into the woman's home on Vernon Street at about 21:00 on Wednesday.

The gang was then seen heading in the direction of Oak Way.

The two woman were not injured in the incident.

Teens Arrested Over Pharmacy Robbery

Two teenagers have been arrested after an attempted robbery at a pharmacy in east Belfast.

The two males, a 17-year-old and an 18-year-old, entered the shop in the Newtownards Road area on Wednesday afternoon armed with a knife and a poker.

They then ran off empty-handed and were arrested by police a short time later.

No one was hurt and no drugs were taken during the incident.

Foyle Body Named As Missing L'Derry Man

A body that was recovered from the River Foyle on Monday morning has been identified as L'Derry man Andrew Quigley, from Galliagh estate.

The 20-year-old had been missing since January after failing to return home from a night out.

His mobile phone and other belongings were found on the Foyle Bridge.

Pilot Enterprise Project Launched In Omagh

A new £289,850 pilot social economy enterprise project has been launched in Omagh.

The Department for Social Development (DSD) has funded the Tyrone Donegal Partnership for its Virtual Incubation Software Training Academy (VISTA) social enterprise business up to March 2015.

VISTA is a virtual incubation software training academy that aims to provide business led software development training to about 20 young people, in collaboration with the local regional college.
