Two Cannabis Factories Uncovered In Dunmurry
Two separate cannabis factories have been uncovered in Dunmurry in the last 24 hours, it has been reported.
According to police, reports of suspicious activity led to the discovery of one of the factories at a flat in the Rowan Drive area, containing plants and herbal cannabis worth an estimated £115,000.
It followed the discovery of another factory at Sunnymede Park on Wednesday, where police seized plants with an estimated value of £3,500.
Two men, aged 18 and 58, were arrested in connection with the find.

Three men aged 30, 33 and 34 have been charged with over 31 offences in connection with the discovery of two cannabis factories in Castlewellan, County Down, on Tuesday 18 November. The men face charges including the cultivation of cannabis, possession of cannabis and possession with intent to supply cannabis.

The PSNI uncovered one hundred and thirty cannabis factories between April 2013 and March 2014, marking a 44% increase compared to 2012-13. Police have released the figures as part of a campaign to tell people how to spot signs of drug factories.

Man charged after discovery of suspected 'cannabis factory'
A 26-year-old man, who was arrested yesterday in connection with the discovery of a suspected “cannabis factory” in County Tyrone, has been remanded in police custody. The man was charged with possession, cultivation, and possession with intent to supply a Class C drug. He will appear at Dungannon Magistrates Court tomorrow.
