US Firm To Create 1,000 In Belfast
Up to 1,000 new jobs are to be created in Belfast by US company Concentrix.
The company, currently employing 800 people in the city, has announced an investment of £36m in a move that has been described as "excellent news for Northern Ireland".
The news follows earlier speculation that Concentrix could be about to buy the old Maysfield Leisure Centre complex.
The company has refused to comment on the speculation.

Tesco To Recruit 200 New Staff
Tesco has announced that it is recruiting over 200 new staff for its new store which will open in Newry on 6 June 2013. The announcement was welcomed today by Employment and Learning Minister Dr Stephen Farry as recruitment opened for the new store. The Minister described the jobs boost as good news for jobseekers in the Newry area.

Global business process outsourcing company, Concentrix Corporation, has launched a recruitment drive after securing new business within the technology and gadgets sector. The company is seeking to recruit 100 permanent staff over the next four weeks with an additional 150 temporary positions over the next few months.

Bausch + Lomb has announced the opening of a new €85 million extension at the their Waterford facility, with the creation of 125 new jobs. Valeant Pharmaceuticals International, the parent company of Bausch + Lomb, has invested more than €200 million in the Waterford facility's operations, infrastructure and manufacturing line growth.
