Car Rams Shop In Lisburn Robbery
Police have appealed for information after a car rammed the front of a shop in Lisburn and clothes were stolen.
The robbery occurred at Market Place at about 05:15 on Wednesday morning after a silver or grey car crashed into the shop. An amount of clothing was then stolen and placed into the vehicle.
Police said two men are believed to have been involved.
Man Arrested Over Larne Disorder
A 22-year-old male has been arrested following disorder in Larne, County Antrim, last month. The man was detained in Carrickfergus under the Terrorism Act on Wednesday morning. He has been taken to Antrim Serious Crime Suite for questioning.
A group of about 100 people attacked homes in the Knockdhu Park and Ferris Avenue areas of Carrickfergus on 30 March. The man is 13th person to be arrested as part of the PSNI investigation into the incident.
Pair Convicted Over Benefit Fraud
Two people have been convicted at Belfast Crown court for claiming benefits they were not entitled to.
43-year-old Rosheen McIntosh of Hazelwood Avenue, Dunmurray, claimed Income Support and Jobseekers Allowance totalling £22,913 while failing to declare capital. She was given 18 months' probation.
46-year-old Christina O’Neill of St Matthews Court, Belfast claimed Income Support, Housing Benefit, Jobseekers Allowance and Employment and Support Allowance totalling £22,745 while failing to declare employment. She was given 18 months' probation.
Child Hit By Car, L'Derry
Police have reported that a three-year-old boy has been taken to hospital after being run over by a car in L'Derry.
The incident occurred at about 15:45 on Tuesday at Farland Way in the Hazebank area. An ambulance arrived and took the boy to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast.
His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening at this stage.

Sinn Féin have proposed new legislation to abolish hospital car parking charges to ease the burden on staff and visitors. West Belfast MLA Fra McCann is currently taking the bill to abolish charges through the Assembly where he expects to receive cross-party backing. He said: "Hospital car parking charges have always been an unfair tax on workers.

Criminals Sentenced For Benefit Fraud
A man was convicted at Belfast Magistrates' court on Wednesday for claiming benefits he was not entitled to. Raymond Crooks, 52, of Bentinck Street, Belfast was given three months imprisonment suspended for two years and ordered to pay court costs of £22 for wrongful encashment of Employment Support Allowance totalling £173.

All Change On NI Sickness Benefits
People who are unable to work through long-term illness are facing a shake up in the way their benefits are paid. This week sees the launch of Employment and Support Allowance (ESA), which replaces Incapacity Benefit and Income Support, paid on incapacity grounds - but only for all new claimants, or customers, as they are now known.
