Heroin 'Likely' In Peaches Geldof Death

An inquest has revealed that heroin is "likely" to have played a role in the death of Peaches Geldof.

Ms Geldof, 25, was found dead at her home in Kent last month (7 April).

At the time, officers said they were treating her death as "non-suspicious, unexplained and sudden".

A post-mortem was carried out, but the results proved inconclusive. The results of a toxicology report have now been released and reveal that Geldof had the drug in her system.

Geldof was the second daughter of Irish musician Bob Geldof and the late Paula Yates, who died of a heroin overdose at the age of 41. Geldof, who was just 11 years old when her mother died, is survived by her husband and two young sons.
