Money Stolen In E Belfast Robbery

A sum of money has been stolen during a robbery at commercial premises on Bloomfield Avenue in east Belfast.

The robbery took place sometime between Friday 9 May and the morning of Saturday 10 May.

A police spokesperson said entry was gained at the front of the premises.

Police enquiries are continuing.

Teenagers Organise 'Disorder' Via Social Media

Three teenagers, one of whom was 12, have been arrested following anti social behaviour that the PSNI believes was orchestrated through social media.

The 12-year-old and two others, aged 14 and 16, were detained following trouble that occurred when rival factions of youths met in Ormeau Park on Saturday and Sunday.

Woman Convicted Of Benefit Fraud

A woman has been convicted at Dungannon Magistrates' court for claiming benefits she was not entitled to.

40-year-old Julie Collins of Kilnacart Road, Dungannon claimed Income Support totalling £6,678 while failing to declare capital. She was fined £250 and ordered to pay court costs of £25.

Mrs Collins has since repaid in full any money she wrongfully obtained to the Social Security Agency.

Rare Parrots Stolen In County Down

Thieves have stolen three rare parrots and five terrapins during break-in at the Seaforde Gardens and Tropical Butterfly House in Downpatrick, County Down.

The premises was targeted at some time on Sunday night or Monday morning.

Two African greys and one Amazonian parrot are said to have been taken.

Police are appealing for information after suspected stolen goods were recovered from a southern registered white Transit van on the M1 in Belfast. Around 30 bottles of whiskey and vodka were found and police are seeking to find where they came from.

Arrests And Suspected Stolen Good Seized In L'Derry
Two men have been arrested and a quantity of suspected stolen goods have been seized by officers from the City Centre Neighbourhood Team in L'Derry. A 26-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of six counts of theft and he remains in police custody at this time.

Four men have been arrested in connection with handling stolen property, following a four-day search by police in Newry. The search began in the Mayobridge area on Friday night and ended on Monday, resulting in a significant amount of suspected stole property being recovered.

Ammunition Found During West Belfast Security Alert
A quantity of ammunition has been found during a security alert in west Belfast. Suspected stolen artwork was also discovered at a property in the St Mary's Gardens area on Thursday, 14 September. Detectives from Musgrave Criminal Investigation Branch have launched an investigation. Police are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.
