NI Shopping Centres For Sale

Property firm Savills has been appointed by the Abbey Group and Foyleside Group to sell a group of shopping centres in Ireland and England.

Known as Project Swallowtail, the eight assets are available as a whole or as individual assets for a total guide price in excess of £710m.

The assets in Northern Ireland are Foyleside in L'Derry, Forestside in Belfast and AbbeyCentre in Newtownabbey.

Simon Hope, head of global capital markets at Savills, said: "We are delighted to be instructed by the Abbey and Foyleside Groups on this high profile project and are looking forward to working with them to achieve their objectives.

"All of the assets are of a very high quality with strong property fundamentals; well let with major asset management opportunities. We are therefore anticipating good interest from across the entire investor spectrum."
