PSNI Appeal Over Dunmurry 'Punishment' Shooting
Detectives in Lisburn have launched an appeal for information over a "punishment style" shooting that occurred on the evening of Tuesday 27 May in Dunmurry.
A 23-year-old man was in a take away restaurant in the Juniper area at about 21:45 when another man came in and dragged him out.
The attacker is described as being of slim build, with a local accent and was wearing a black scarf over his face, a black beanie hat, black jacket and black jeans.
The 23-year-old was then walked to open ground at the rear of Glasvey Drive, where two other men were waiting. The man was then shot in his left knee and ankle. He was taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries which are not believed to be life threatening.
Anyone who witnessed any suspicious behaviour in the Juniper or Glasvey Drive area, or anyone who knows anything about this incident, is asked to contact CID in Lisburn Police Station on the non-emergency number 101. The independent charity Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Gary McGrath-Hayes from County Antrim was last seen at home in the Ballybogey area near Ballymoney on Thursday morning at around 07:30. 42-year-old Mr McGrath-Hayes left home in his car, a black Honda Accord, vehicle registration number HEZ 7411.

Man Arrested Over Paramilitary-Style Shooting In L'Derry
A man has been arrested in connection with a paramilitary-style shooting in Co L'Derry. A 33-year-old man was shot in the legs and abdomen in the Lisfannon Park area on Tuesday, 08 August. Police described the assault as "brutal and horrific". The 43-year-old suspect was detained in L'Derry on Tuesday, 15 August.

Man Injured In Lurgan Shooting
A man has been injured in a shooting in Lurgan, Co Armagh. Two shots were fired at a house in the Ashleigh Crescent area just before 11pm on Sunday, 07 May. The man sustained a cut to his neck. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
