Woman Dies In Larne House Fire
A woman has died in a house fire in Larne, County Antrim.
The fire broke out at Greenland Walk in the early hours of Monday morning in an end terrace, two storey property. It is thought it was started accidentally in an upstairs bedroom.
The lady, in her late 70s, was rescued from the house by firefighters, but died at the scene.
Woman Freed From Overturned Car
A woman has been taken to hospital after being trapped in an overturned car on the Craignageeragh Road outside Ahoghill in County Antrim.
Fire crews used hydraulic cutting equipment to release the woman, 39, from the vehicle. They then administered First Aid at the scene.
The woman was taken to hospital by ambulance.
Pair Arrested Over Burnt Out Car
Two people have been arrested after a car was stolen and set on fire in L'Derry.
A grey Audi was stolen from the Hinton Park area, off the Limavady Road, in the early hours of Tuesday morning, and was later found ablaze at Creevagh Park on the Letterkenny Road at around 05:00.
Police arrested the pair, aged 21 and 17, on suspicion of burglary, vehicle theft and arson about an hour later.
Appeal Over St John Ambulance Theft
St John Ambulance has appealed for information following the theft of equipment worth £2,000 from a station in Newtownards, County Down.
A garage at the site in the North Road area was broken into at the weekend. A defibrillator machine and other medical equipment, including a response bag from a parked ambulance, were stolen.
The break-in occurred between 20:30 on Saturday and 14:30 on Sunday.
The serial number of the Philips FR2 defibrillator is 052613427.

The roadshow, supported by AXA Insurance and the Northern Ireland Road Safety Partnership, aims to educate young drivers about the dangers of irresponsible driving.

A female pedestrian in her 70s has tragically died following a road traffic collision in west Belfast on Saturday, 9th November. The incident occurred on Hannahstown Hill shortly after 6:50pm when two pedestrians were struck by a vehicle. Emergency services attended the scene, and the injured pedestrians were taken to hospital.
