Taxi & Bus Conversions Open New Factory
Enterprise, Trade and Investment Minister Arlene Foster has opened Taxi & Bus Conversions Limited's new purpose-built factory in Dungannon.
The expansion forms part of a £2.5m investment by the company, aimed at growing sales to Great Britain and the Republic of Ireland.
Arlene Foster said: "This state-of-the-art production facility marks an important milestone for Taxi & Bus Conversions Limited and signals its commitment to long-term growth.
"From humble beginnings eight years ago, this specialist business has steadily grown its sales to Great Britain and the Republic of Ireland, building up valuable relationships with leading vehicle manufacturers."
Invest Northern Ireland has offered the Co Tyrone firm over £170,000 towards its expansion plans, which includes creating 19 new high quality jobs over the next two years.
The Minister continued: "Invest NI's continued support has played a significant role in the company's growth to date and enabled the business to increase employment and invest in marketing, R&D and skills development.
"The impressive new production facility will underpin the company's ambitious growth plans, while the 19 new jobs will make a valuable contribution to the local community and wider economy."
