Invest NI To Engage With Local Businesses

Building on the success of its three 'pop up' offices held so far across Northern Ireland, Invest Northern Ireland will be in the Abbey Centre, Newtownabbey on 24 – 26 June.

The initiative aims to increase the agency's engagement with local businesses.

The 'pop up' office is aimed at smaller businesses and will offer a series of expert half-hour workshops on topics such as finance, starting a business and accessing Invest NI support. It will also offer one-to-one meetings with Invest NI staff to discuss what support is available to businesses.

Bill Scott, Invest NI's Executive Director, Regional Business said: "We are constantly looking for ways to effectively engage and reach out to local businesses to make them aware of the support and advice available. With over 100 people 'popping in' to our previous events there is an appetite for this type of initiative.

"It gives small local businesses the opportunity to avail of the expertise within Invest NI without having to go out of their way to make an appointment."
