UFF issue threat against Adair supporters
Outlawed loyalist paramilitary group, the Ulster Freedom Fighters (UFF) has again issued a threat against supporters of ousted UDA leader Johnny Adair.
The threat followed a brief visit home by Adair's wife, Gina, who stayed overnight in the lower Shankill area of west Belfast on Monday.
In a statement the group warned against other such visits from those linked to Adair saying they would not pass "without incident". The UFF also warned anyone seen associating with Adair's supporters would not be tolerated.
The threat came a few hours after a security alert outside the house where Mrs Adair was reportedly staying. It was later declared a hoax.
It is believed Gina Adair was in Northern Ireland to visit her husband in Maghaberry prison.
She arrived in the province from her Bolton home and was taken to her mother's lower Shankill home under police escort.

Adair's legal challenge over jail decision fails
Notorious loyalist Johnny Adair has failed in his bid to reverse the Secretary of State's decision to send him back to jail. At the High Court in Belfast today, Lord Chief Justice Sir Robert Carswell, denied Adair leave to seek a judicial review of Paul Murphy's decision – which he described as "fair".

Notorious loyalist Johnny Adair’s legal bid to overturn an order by the Secretary of State sending him back to prison passed its first hurdle in the Belfast High Court today. After hearing legal argument, Mr Justice Kerr ruled that Adair could apply for a judicial review of Mr Murphy's decision.

Man Dies In Fatal Collision In Kilrea
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following a fatal collision in Kilrea. A 35-year-old man has died after the blue Vauxhall Astra car he was driving collided with a tree after it left the Agivey Road at around 8.40pm on Monday, 03 September. The road was closed for a time but has since reopened.
