Minister Of State Attends WWI Commemoration In Dublin
Northern Ireland's Secretary of State, Theresa Villiers, has attended a World War One commemoration in Dublin.
Ms Villiers joined the Irish President and the Duke of Kent in dedicating a cross of sacrifice at Glasnevin Cemetery to mark the 100th anniversary of WWI.
Invasive Shrimp Species Found In NI For The First Time
Bloody Red Shrimp, a new invasive species, has been discovered in Northern Ireland for the first time.
The Environment Agency made the discovery in Upper Lough Erne will conducting a fish survey.
The discovery raises concerns over the impact on plankton and the potentially adverse affect on Lough Erne's ecosystem.
The new species was found in Ireland in 2008.
Boxing Medal Haul Now Stands At Nine
Northern Ireland's boxing medal haul at the Commonwealth Games has increased to nine, following victories by Paddy Barnes, Steven Donnelly and Connor Coyle on Wednesday night.
With nine medals secured by the boxing wins, it is now predicted that NI will comfortable better its medal total of 10 four years ago in Dehli.

PM Hails UK Gold Medal While On Olympics Visit To Northern Ireland
Prime Minister David Cameron has hailed Team GB's first gold medal win while on a one-day visit to Northern Ireland. He said the medal, won by rowers Helen Glover and Heather Stanning, was "fantastic" news for the UK. Mr Cameron said the Games had been a "huge success on every level" and showed what the UK is capable of, even in difficult times.
