Toddler In Critical Condition Following Road Crash
A toddler is said to be in a critical condition in hospital following a road traffic accident.
The crash happened on the Rubane Road in Kircubbin, Co Down, at around 8.15am on Thursday (21 August). Two vehicles were involved in the accident.
It is understood a Volvo S40 and a Ford Transit van were involved. A man, said to be the van driver, as well as the female driver of the Volvo were taken to hospital. Their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
The girl, aged two, is being treated at the Royal Victoria Hospital, where she is in a critical condition, the Belfast Trust confirmed.
Anyone who witnessed the accident, or was travelling along the Rubane Road at the time, to contact them on the non-emergency number 101.

Serious Road Accident In L'Derry
Police are appealing for witnesses of a serious road accident in Maghera, Co L'Derry, on Sunday night. A man in his 20s is in a critical condition in hospital following the two car collision on the Coleraine Road. A man is in a critical condition in hospital after being struck by a car in Co Tyrone. The accident happened on the Strabane Road in Newtownstewart on Monday, 24 October. He is currently in intensive care at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast. The road has been reopened.
