Gas Leak At Belfast Harbour
A Parcelforce office at Belfast Harbour has been evacuated due to a gas leak.
It is understood workmen burst a gas main at around 10am on Friday at Westbank Road.
Four fire engines are at the scene, as is the PSNI and a team from Phoenix Gas.
A cordon has been put in place until the area is made safe.
Road Improvement Scheme Announced For Cloghcor
Transport Minister Danny Kennedy has said a £265,000 capital investment scheme for the A5 Victoria Road in Cloghcor will commence next month.
Starting on Monday 1 September, the project is expected to be completed by Sunday 5 October.
The resurfacing scheme will start near the Ballydonaghey Road and extend for almost 1.5km northwards towards Bready.
A majority of the work will be carried out daily, between the hours of 9.30am and 4.30pm, and lanes of the carriageway will close during particular phases of the scheme. During the final resurfacing works it will be necessary to close the road. A signed diversion route will be in place.
Minister Kennedy commented: "This capital investment scheme will greatly improve the strength of the carriageway and drivers in particular will quickly realise the benefits of the improved road surface of this important road."
Man Charged Over Drugs Seizure
A 31-year-old man has been charged in connection with a drugs seizure in Co Down.
A search was carried out on a property at Green Road in Conlig on Thursday, when the drugs with an estimated street value of more than £30,000 were discovered by police.
The man, who is accused of possession and possession with intent to supply Class A, B and C drugs, was arrested.
He is due to appear at Newtownards Magistrates' Court today (22 August).
Funeral Of Sam Foster Takes Place
The funeral of Sam Foster, a former Ulster Unionist minister, has taken place in Enniskillen, Co Fermanagh.
Mr Foster, 82, represented Fermanagh and South Tyrone in the Northern Ireland Assembly. Between 1999 and 2002, he served as the Environment Minister at Stormont. He was also part of the executive under former First Minister David Trimble.
A former chairman of Fermanagh District Council, Mr Foster also served as a major in the Ulster Defence Regiment.

Work on a £270,000 resurfacing scheme on the U6208 Shimna Road, Newcastle, and a £54,000 resurfacing scheme on Park Avenue, Newcastle, is to start on Monday 13 January 2014.
