Boy, 14, Stabbed In Enniskillen
A 14-year-old boy is in hospital after being stabbed by another teenager in Enniskillen, Co Fermanagh.
The incident happened at the Round O Jetty area of the town at around midnight on Sunday. The victim is said to have been approached and then stabbed twice in the abdomen.
He was taken to hospital for treatment. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
On Monday, police confirmed a 15-year-old male was arrested in the Enniskillen area and remains in police custody.
Tom Elliot, UUP Fermanagh South Tyrone MLA, described the attack as "disturbing" and "cowardly".
He said: "This was a cowardly attack and it is very disturbing that such attacks are taking place in public parks.
"I would appeal to anyone who may have information about this attack to contact the Police, so the perpetrator can be brought to justice.
"My thoughts are with the young boy who was attacked, and I wish him a speedy recovery. The people of Enniskillen should not have to deal with cowardly attacks like this."
