Man Arrested Following Suspected Attack On Toddler
A toddler is currently being treated in hospital following a suspected assault in County Armagh.
The alleged attack on two-year-old girl occurred in in Bessbrook on Sunday.
A man in his 20s has been arrested.
Police have appealed for anyone who was in the Charlemont Square East, Bessbrook, on Sunday and who witnessed suspicious activity to contact them.

NI troop withdrawal plan announced
The government has today revealed that the number of troops in the province will be cut from 9,000 to 5,000 by August 1 2007. The number of remaining military sites will also be reduced from 40 to 14, over the next year.

Appeal Following Arson Attack In L'Derry
PSNI detectives have issued an appeal for information following a serious arson attack in the Clon Dara area of L'Derry on Saturday, 23 November. Shortly before 8.20pm, police received a report that an accelerant had been used to ignite the front door and letterbox of a house in the area.

Police Granted More Time To Question Man Over Toddler Attack
Police have been given more time to question a man in relation to a suspected attack on a toddler in Bessbrook, Co Armagh. The two-year-old girl is believed to have been assaulted in the Charlemount Square East area at around 7.45pm on Sunday. The girl is in a critical condition in hospital. A man in his 20s was arrested on the day of the attack.

Three Arrested After Man Dies In Stabbing Attack
Three men have been arrested following a stabbing attack in Craigavon, in the early hours of Sunday morning. The 45-year-old man was stabbed at a house in Parkmore. He was taken to hospital but later died from his injuries. The man's name has not yet been released. Police are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.

Detectives have renewed an appeal for information following a deliberate arson attack at a vacant property in the Weaver's Grange area of Newtownards. The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday, 17 November, 2023. Police and firefighters were called to the scene at around 12:40am.
