Lakeland Trading Solutions To Create 49 New Jobs In Enniskillen

Lakeland Trading Solutions is to create 49 new jobs in Enniskillen over the next three years.

The firm, trading as LIMA, is also setting up new contact centre in the area.

The company will primarily sell home and contents insurance.

Matthew Martin originally from Enniskillen, but living in Scotland and England for the past 12 years, developed the business opportunity with colleague Lee Hanford.

He said: "After considering other UK locations, we were convinced that Enniskillen offered us the best business environment in terms of cost effectiveness along with the quality and availability of talent.

"The support we have received has been important to us getting the operation up and running and we look forward to working with them as we grow the operation over the next couple of years."

SDLP Condemns Decision To Close 10 NI Tax Offices
The SDLP has condemned the decision to close 10 tax offices in Northern Ireland. Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs (HMRC) plans to operate from one single facility in Belfast. Newry, Coleraine, Craigavon, Enniskillen, Lisburn and L'Derry will close between 2016 and 2021.

Resurfacing Project To Start On A32 Enniskillen Road
A £150,000 resurfacing project is to start on the A32 Enniskillen Road. The work is to begin on 5 May and is expected to last for five days. The road will be closed to traffic throughout the period of work and traffic diversions will be in place.

Elderly Brother And Sister Assaulted
A brother and sister in their 90's have been assaulted with a broom stick by intruders who ransacked their house in the Camplagh Road area, Kesh. Three men entered the house in the early hours of this morning, and it is not yet known if anything has been stolen. The man and woman suffered bruising and shock, but did not require hospital treatment.

Invest NI assists 5,000 business starts ups in two years
Invest NI has secured commitments of £1 billion and assisted nearly 5,000 new business starts in its first two years, the agency has claimed on its second anniversary. Professor Fabian Monds, Chairman of Invest NI said the agency had played an integral role in helping Northern Ireland adapt to "global market dynamics".

Ergo Invests £4.5m In NI Expansion
Leading IT solutions provider, Ergo, will invest £4.5 million to expand into Northern Ireland, creating 40 high-quality jobs over the next three years.
