Man Charged With Attempted Murder Of Toddler

A man, aged 24, has been charged with the attempted murder of a toddler in County Armagh.

The two-year-old girl remains in a critical condition in hospital after an alleged attack in Bessbrook on Sunday at around 7.45pm.

It is believed she was assaulted in the Charlemount Square East area of the village.

The man is due to appear before Banbridge Magistrates' Court on Thursday.

A 47-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder in east Belfast. The incident happened at a house in the Lendrick Street area at around 8.30am on Sunday, 26 November. The man, who was arrested in the property, was charged with attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence.

Man Released On Bail Over Lurgan Murder
A man arrested in connection with a murder in Lurgan on Sunday, 06 August, has been released on bail pending further enquiries. The body of a man, aged 45, was discovered at a flat on Victoria Street. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
