Woman 'Hit By Machete' In Robbery
A woman has been struck by a machete during an armed robbery in Co Antrim.
The incident happened at a petrol station on the Largy Road, Randalstown, at around 9.40pm on Wednesday (26 November).
It has been reported that two men, said to be dressed in white disposable coveralls and armed with a machete and a suspected gun, entered the premises. The woman, who is in her teens, suffered a cut to her hand when the pair forced members of staff to hand over a sum of money.
She was taken to hospital for treatment.
The two men fled the scene on foot.
Anyone who witnessed the incident, or who has any information, is asked to contact police on 101.

A woman has been assaulted during an aggravated burglary in Newtownabbey. A number of masked and armed men forced entry to a property in the Forthill Drive area at around 10.15pm on Wednesday, 19 September. A woman who was in the house at the time was attacked and sustained an injury to her lip. Three other people in the property were not injured.

Police have launched an investigation after a man escaped injury following a break-in at a property in north Belfast. The incident happened at a flat on the Cliftonville Road at around 7.15am on Wednesday, 04 January. A man and woman armed with a baseball bat entered the property and searched all of the rooms. They then fled from the scene.
