Deputy First Minister To Attend British-Irish Council
Deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness and Finance Minister Simon Hamilton are to join UK and Irish leaders on the Isle of Man for a meeting of the British-Irish Council.
The council was established as part of the Good Friday Agreement and involves representatives from Ireland and all of the UK's devolved administrations.
First Minister Peter Robinson has chosen not to attend, with the DUP saying that he has other engagements. However, according to a report by the BBC, sources claim that a report of an investigation into Mr Robinson and his wife Iris is due to be published.
While the official focus of the talks is to be the "digital agenda", it is understood that Mr McGuinness will meet with Ireland's Taoiseach Enda Kenny, to discuss inter-party Stormont talks.
