Since opening, the centre has welcomed more than 250,000 visitors through its doors and seen a significant increase in footfall, ticket and retail sales.
The Visitor Centre, one of Belfast City Council's key capital projects within its wider £150m Investment Programme, has already won a number of awards for its impressive use of digital technology and the enhanced visitor experience it provides.
Lord Mayor, Councillor Nichola Mallon, said: "Tourism has become a key economic driver for Belfast, propelling investment while creating and sustaining jobs in a city which is bursting with things to do, see and enjoy.
