Man Seriously Injured In Assault
A man has suffered serious injuries following an assault in Lisburn.
He is being treated in hospital.
It is understood the incident happened on the Mullaghglass Road, shortly before 2am on Monday.
Three people have been arrested.
Two men, aged 47 and 53, and a woman, aged 46, are said to have been detained by detectives.
Police have said they are looking at a possibility that the assault is linked to a collision which occurred on the Shaw's Road around 90 minutes earlier. A grey Volkswagen Polo and a black Volkswagen Passat were involved in the accident.
Anyone who was in the Shaw's Road or Mullaghglass Road areas in the early hours of this morning have been asked to contact police.

Police Appeal After Man Attacked In Co Antrim
Police are appealing for information after a man was attacked in Ballymena, Co Antrim. The assault happened in the North Road area at around 3.30am on Sunday, 29 January. A gang of four or five men attacked the victim, aged 37. He was taken to hospital where his condition has been described as "serious".
