Car Damaged By Petrol Bomb In Lurgan

A car has been damaged after a petrol bomb was thrown in Lurgan, County Armagh.

The incident is reported to have occurred in the Boconnell Court area at around 20:30 on Sunday.

The device was thrown at the vehicle as it was parked in a driveway, causing fire damage.

The PSNI has appealed for anyone with information to contact them.

Petrol Bomb Damages House In Belfast
A house in south Belfast has been left damaged following a petrol bomb attack. Police said the device was thrown at the front door of a property in Agra Street at around 9.20pm on Tuesday. A window to the property suffered minor scorch damage. It is thought a brick was also thrown at the house, smashing a window.

Bomb Thrown At Police Car In Twinbrook
A bomb has been thrown at a police vehicle in the Twinbrook area of west Belfast. The attack came just days after protestors in Londonderry’s Creggan area damaged the front of a police car with a suspected nail bomb. Officers went to Twinbrook, Belfast just after midnight on Wednesday to deal with reports of a broken window in a house in Whin Park.

Call For Vigilance As Cars Damaged In Lurgan
Motorists in Lurgan have been angered by a spate of car vandalism in the Co Armagh town. Police said two vehicles were targeted in the vicinity of Lurgan Tarry late on Sunday night, 19 January, causing significant damage that is expected to cost hundreds of pounds.
