NI documents found in counterfeit operation
A man has been arrested after gardai uncovered a major counterfeiting operation in the Republic of Ireland yesterday.
Among the items seized were a large number of Northern Ireland driving licences and tax discs.
The man, who is believed to be in his 40s, was arrested following a raid in Dundalk on Tuesday.
A large quantity of documentation and computer equipment were found during the raid including bank drafts, however it is not known in which currency they were made out.

Counterfeit Car Parts Found In Armagh
A large number of illegal car parts have been found during a police raid in Co. Armagh. The sub-standard parts, which included brake pads, were found at a premises on the Concession Road in the Cullaville area on Wednesday. A large sum of cash was also found. The raid was carried out by the PSNI in conjunction with Trading Standards.

Man Released On Bail Over Lurgan Murder
A man arrested in connection with a murder in Lurgan on Sunday, 06 August, has been released on bail pending further enquiries. The body of a man, aged 45, was discovered at a flat on Victoria Street. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

NI Man Unlawfully-At-Large Extradited From Republic Of Ireland
A man wanted by the PSNI for being unlawfully-at-large from an NI prison has been extradited from the Republic of Ireland. 36-year-old Shane Frane was jailed for a minimum term of six years in 2014 for the manslaughter of policewoman, Constable Philippe Reynolds, in a fatal collision in L'Derry in February 2013.
