Man Arrested Over Missing Co Tyrone Woman

Police investigating the disappearance of a County Tyrone woman two years ago have arrested a 44-year-old man on suspicion of murder.

Charlotte Murray, originally from Omagh, was 34-years-old when she was reported missing in May 2013.

She had been living in Moy at the time she was reported missing. However, the PSNI then said she had not been in contact with family or friends since November the previous year.

Detectives from Serious Crime Branch made the arrest in County Antrim on Tuesday.

DCI Gareth Talbot said: "Police enquiries over nearly two years give us grounds to believe that Charlotte may have been murdered. The suspect is to be interviewed in the Serious Crime Suite at Antrim."
