Power NI To Cut Prices By 9.2%
Power NI has announced it will cut its prices by 9.2% from 01 April.
The company is Northern Ireland's largest electricity supplier, supplying more than 500,000 homes and 37,000 businesses in the region.
The price reduction will see the average household bill reduced by approximately £50 a year, and almost £200 a year for small businesses.
The company is introducing the price cut due to a decrease in wholesale gas prices.
The move follows a similar cut by smaller NI electricity supplier Budget Energy.
