Police investigate indecent assault in Omagh
Police have launched an investigation into the alleged indecent assault of an 11-year-old girl in Co Tyrone.
The girl was playing with friends on the Gortin Road in Omagh on Wednesday night when she was hauled into nearby shrubbery and attacked.
Her attacker is described as being 16 to 19 years of age, spiked blond hair, of slim build with acne. He was wearing a navy tracksuit top and black trousers.
Police said the attack was an isolated incident.

Police have said they believe missing Omagh man, Shane Sharkey, has been found in the Republic of Ireland. A police appeal for help in finding the 35-year-old has been cancelled, with police saying they now believe they know where he is. No further details have been released but police thanked the public for their help.

Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

A man is in a serious condition in hospital after being attacked in Omagh, Co Tyrone. The assault happened in the Hospital Road area at around 3am on Saturday, 30 July. A gang of men got out of a black coloured car and attacked the victim with a type of club or bat. He sustained a number of injuries to his head and body.

Teen Arrested As Man fights For Life After Assault
A 21-year-old man is fighting for his life in hospital after being attacked in the early hours of Saturday morning. A 16-year-old who was arrested by police has since been charged with grievous bodily harm. He is due to appear in court in Omagh next Wednesday, June 17.
