Holiday firm plans Italian Job
Northern Ireland holidaymakers will be flying directly from Belfast to Italy for the first time next summer, thanks to a leading tour operator.
JWT Holidays, which returned to the local holiday market last year, unveiled its plans through its new JWT Destinations brochure aimed at the more independent traveller.
The new brochure features nine new destinations including direct packages from Belfast to Italy (Rome and Sorrento), the Algarve and Costa de la Luz - as well as additional Dublin departures to Sicily, Tuscany, Italian Adriatic, Lake Garda, Slovenia, Croatia, Malta, Tunisia and the Lisbon Coast.
Speaking at the launch, JWT Director Christine Donnelly said: “We are delighted and excited to announce direct flights from Belfast International Airport into the Neopolitan Riviera with a choice of two resorts – the breathtaking Sorrento and the eternal city of Rome.
“Out of Belfast, the brochure also features the new resort of Costa de la Luz in Southern Spain and a range of alternative choices in the Algarve."
The new brochure is part of an overall 148-page JWT Holidays Summer 2004 brochure which features 16 popular destinations from Belfast International and City of Derry airports aimed particularly at the adult market.
The Balearic, Greek and Canary Islands are all featured as well as Spain, Turkey, the Algarve and Cyprus.
