Memorial Attack Treated As 'Hate Crime'
Red paint has been thrown on a memorial to three Scottish soldiers at White Brae on the Ligoniel Road.
Police said they are treating the vandalism as a hate crime and are appealing for anyone with any information to come forward.
The attack is believed to have happened sometime between 18:00 on Saturday and 17:00 on Sunday.
It is understood this is the 12th time the memorial has been attacked.

Man Shot In Co L'Derry
A man has been shot in the ankle in Co L'Derry. The paramilitary-style attack happened near the Creggan shops at around 7.45pm on Thursday, 07 December. The 41-year-old man has been taken to hospital to be treated, however his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. Police described the shooting as "brutal and horrific".
