Appeal for church vandals
Police are continuing to appeal for information after a Protestant church was damaged by vandals in Co Armagh at the weekend.
St Andrew's Church on the Maghery Road, near Portadown, had an estimated £2,500 worth of damage inflicted in the attack on Saturday night.
Three leaded glass windows were smashed, urns were damaged and wreaths were strewn around the graveyard during the incident.
SDLP councillor Dolores Kelly condemned those behind the attack describing the incident as "deplorable".

Detectives in Belfast are investigating a suspected arson attack on a 5G mast in the Andersonstown Road area. The incident occurred around 9.55pm on Wednesday, November 13th. Detective Sergeant Faulkner confirmed that officers attended the scene alongside the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service, who successfully extinguished the blaze.

PSNI detectives have issued an appeal for information following a serious arson attack in the Clon Dara area of L'Derry on Saturday, 23 November. Shortly before 8.20pm, police received a report that an accelerant had been used to ignite the front door and letterbox of a house in the area.

Detectives have renewed an appeal for information following a deliberate arson attack at a vacant property in the Weaver's Grange area of Newtownards. The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday, 17 November, 2023. Police and firefighters were called to the scene at around 12:40am.

Investigation Launched Following Arson Attack On Baptist Church
Police have launched an investigation following an arson attack on a Baptist Church in Co Down. Tyres were put up against the side of the building on the Loughbrickland Road in Rathfriland and set alight between 11pm and 11.30pm on Wednesday, 18 May. Damaged was caused to the side of the church and windows.

Methodist Church Damaged In Arson Attack
Police have launched an investigation following a fire at a church in south Belfast. The attack happened at Cairnshill Methodist Church on the Ballylenaghan Road last Thursday night. A number of fires were started within the building and damage was caused in several rooms. A motive for the incident has yet to be established.
