Man Critical Following Incident At Belfast Harbour
A man has been seriously injured after becoming trapped under a coal conveyor belt in Belfast's Harbour estate.
Paramedics and fire crews were called to Hayes Fuels on Thursday (5 March) at around 12.30pm.
The 45-year-old man was treated at the scene of the incident, before being transferred to the Royal Victoria Hospital.
He is believed to be in a critical condition.
The Health and Safety Executive NI is investigating.

A man has died following an industrial incident at Belfast Harbour. The incident happened at Stormont Wharf area on Tuesday morning, 21 March. It is understood the man became trapped under machinery. A spokesperson from the Belfast Harbour said the Health and Safety Executive is at the scene and the next of kin have been informed.
