Magherafelt Firm Focuses On Growing CemeteryPro.com

Advance Software based in Magherafelt is focused on growing its export presence through sales of its cornerstone product, CemeteryPro.com.

Invest Northern Ireland is supporting the firm's marketing efforts in a bid to increase its customer base across Great Britain, Republic of Ireland and USA.

Malachy Devlin, Director of Advance Software, said: "CemeteryPro.com has garnered a good degree of sales from the target customer base without a concentrated marketing drive so the aim is to leverage this success to secure additional business. The product was recently chosen by Fingal County Council in Dublin, Fingal are a Local Authority north of Dublin with offices at Swords and Blanchardstown serving a geographical location of 452.sq km and is home to several key elements of national and regional infrastructure, including Dublin Airport.

"The technology behind CemeteryPro has proven to deliver the features and functionality required by organisations that are tasked with the management, sales and maintenance of cemeteries. The support offered by Invest NI will enable me to grow the CemeteryPro brand and secure an increasing proportion of business from outside Northern Ireland."

NI manufacturing and exports rise
Total sales and exports reported by manufacturing companies in Northern Ireland have continued to increase over the last year. The latest figures from the Northern Ireland Manufacturing Sales and Exports survey, show that sales by manufacturing companies were worth £13.8 billion in 2004/05, an increase of 2.5% over the year.
