Man Remanded In Custody Over Kyle Neil Murder
A man, aged 26, has been remanded in custody charged with murdering Kyle Neil.
The 23-year-old father from north Belfast was found dead in the boot of a car in south Belfast on Sunday.
The accused, Wesley Harry Vance from Comber, appeared before Newtownards Magistrates' court.
He had been stabbed in a "frenzied attack", according to police.
Mr Neill had been at a party in Comber last Saturday night at the Church Gate studio apartments in Mill Street. His body was later found in a blue Ford Fiesta car at Windsor Road after a call to police from a member of the public.
The officer leading the murder investigation, Detective Chief Inspector John McVea, said: "We are following a number of definite lines of enquiry. A post mortem examination is due to take place but I can confirm that Mr Neil had been stabbed.
"I am appealing for information about Mr Neil's movements on Saturday and the movements of the blue Ford Fiesta car in which his body was found.
"I want to hear from anyone who saw Mr Neil, who was from north Belfast, at any time on Saturday during the day or that evening when he was in Comber.
"I also want to speak to anyone who saw the blue Ford Fiesta car, registration number HJZ 2135, between the hours of 2am and 7am on Sunday morning in the Comber area, possibly at the Island Hill tourist amenity car park on the shore of Strangford Lough between Comber and Newtownards and anywhere between Comber and Windsor Road which is off the Lisburn Road in south Belfast.
"An incident room has been set up in Newtownards police station and I would appeal to anyone who can help with our appeal points or who has information which they think is relevant to contact us on 028 9180 1507."
Wesley Harry Vance is due to appear in court on 8th May.

Murdered Man Found In Car
A murder investigation has been launched after the body of a man was found in a car in County Down. The man has been named locally as Philip Strickland,36. He was found in a car on Quarry Road, off the Ballydrain Road, near Comber on Wednesday. It is understood that the murder took place around 21.

Man Has Car Stolen At Gunpoint In Co Antrim
A man has had his car stolen at gunpoint as he was taking photographs in Co Antrim. A masked man approached the victim in a car park in Glenarm at around 10.35am on Sunday, 23 July. He demanded the man to hand over his car keys and made off in a red Ford Fiesta on New Road.

Man Dies In Co Down Road Crash
A man in his 70s has been found dead at the scene of a car crash in Co Down. The collision occurred on the Comber Road between Lisburn and Carryduff on Thursday. The man is believed to have crashed into a garden. Emergency services attended and the man was confirmed dead at the scene. The Comber Road has been reopened.
