Trading as Saturn LED, the Dungannon-based business has recently recruited four new staff and experienced a successful first year in trading. The firm manufactures and sells an extensive range of bespoke LED Lighting designs from its Dungannon facility.
Invest NI offered Saturn Electrical Distribution £28,000 to support its business development activities and the recruitment of four new employees including a new business development manager.
Owner and Director of Saturn LED, Mark O'Connor, said: "The assistance offered by Invest NI has been a vital building block in the business' development and I'm delighted with how far we've come since I completed my business plan through its Regional Start Initiative less than two years ago.
"Our current focus is to drive awareness of our products among prospective customers and explore new opportunities for energy efficient lighting products across Great Britain and Europe.
"An export start grant from Invest NI has enabled us to recruit a Business Development Manager and three additional staff in sales and operative roles which will be valuable to driving future growth. We are also undertaking market visits and attending trade shows in Great Britain, Poland and Germany in the coming months with the aim of identifying new trends, manufacturers and increasing our market presence."
